Our Schools
All schools will feature high expectations, excellent teachers and principals, low enrollment, project-based learning, and strong social and emotional support for students. We will support traditional public, public charter, and private schools throughout metro Detroit (south of Twelve Mile Road and east of Telegraph) provided that they are open to Detroit students. We expect each school to have 400-500 students.
Our goal is 11 new schools by 2014, and 35 schools by 2018.
